The project consists of a 7,200 sf renovation of the food court and kitchen areas for the University Community Center. By reorganizing the student newspaper office, the dining room design opens up the space to the exterior wall, providing natural light and views to a beautiful lawn area. With a new inviting entrance, the dining area is divided into several themed areas such as meeting rooms, a small “pub” area, intimate banquettes, and a cyber café. The food court design and finishes incorporate the university colors creating a bright, upscale, and pleasant dining destination. Additionally, an efficient office suite has been created adjacent to the food court, providing a stronger presence for the student newspaper.
