The Center for Working Families, Inc. (TCFWF), located in the Dunbar Neighborhood Center in the Mechanicsville community in Atlanta, is a non-profit social services organization funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The Center's mission is to provide families in the surrounding communities with access to employment, work support, asset building services and community-building services. TCFWF currently occupies offices on the third floor of the neighborhood center but requires more space to accommodate the success of its program. TCFWF contracted RWH to contribute to its mission by designing a warm, inviting, colorful and flexible space that will be respectful of the needs of its program participants. The new space is located on the bottom floor of TCFWF's existing home in the Dunbar Neighborhood Center. It is a 10,000 sf interior renovation that transforms a former daycare into a business occupancy that includes a new entry lobby, business center, training room, conference rooms and office space for administrators and counselors. RWH's work also includes furniture selection for all of the spaces.
