Located in idyllic Turner Lake Park, this recreation and senior services center marries a unique program with a uniquely beautiful site. Entering through the granite faced portico and lobby, the building divides into recreational facilities to one side and senior services to the other. The formal public side transitions to a glass walled corridor with exterior walkways overlooking the lake. The granite walls throughout the building echo the granite features throughout the park, while the color palette melds the facility into the surrounding landscape. A gymnasium, arts and crafts room, seniors dining room with full service kitchen and a banquet room round out the program.
